Here we have a Rolex Datejust in two-tone yellow gold and stainless steel with a rare creme boiler gauge dial. An iconic model designed by Hans Wilsdorf. The Datejust model was introduced in 1945 at the Swiss Watch Show, later known as Baselworld. The center of attention is the Stella creme boiler gauge dial which is one of the many different dial variations produced by Rolex but one of the least common ones seen on the market. The case size is 36mm which is the perfect men’s size watch—housing an automatic movement. The Datejust model has a slim profile on the wrist with a pop of clean plexi crystal, this watch sits comfortably under any shirtsleeve. This watch is an 879xxxx serial which dates to 1985.
The two-tone Jubilee bracelet has a timeless design that pairs excellently with the dial. This watch comes with a two-tone D-link bracelet (AKA Heavy bracelet) which is more comfortable to wear for long periods and in great condition overall with minimal stretch. The case, bracelet, and bezel are all original and in overall great condition. All parts are original including the signed Rolex crown, dial, movement, and caseback. Both the dial and case are in great cosmetic, untouched condition. This watch keeps great time and is fully functioning.
