Hi, my name is David Matatov, I’ve been in the New York City diamond district for over a decade in the family business and found my passion working with vintage watches. I began working in the vintage watch industry with my brother and we decided to open up our first retail shop in May 2022, selling vintage watches full-time on the most competitive block in the country and we love it.

What inspired me to start buying and selling in the vintage watch industry full-time was my brother. He had all these unusual watches from different eras and brands like Rolex, Omega, Tudor, Cartier, and lots more. Seeing all his watches got me extremely curious and led me down the rabbit hole of searching for my first “real” watch. Aside from the amazing people I met with a wealth of knowledge and love for the brand’s history which influenced me heavily. It all started with attending private events in the city for watch collectors and rapidly turned into a nightly occurrence of going out and talking about vintage watches for hours.
